Learning Assistance Program (LAP)

The Learning Assistance Program proides financial assistance to school districts to meet the neeeds of educationally at-risk students.  The goal of LAP is to provide extra instructional services and activities which support students identified as failing or most at risk of failing the state's challenging performance standards in mathematics, reading and writing.  LAP will provide targeted students with extra educational assistance beyond the regular classroom.    This program serves students in elementary and secondary school who have demonstrated that extra assistance is needed.

Title I

Title I funds help all students within a Title I-eligible school.  Columbia Crest is the only Title I eligible school in the Eatonville School District.  Parental income levels determine whether a school qualifies for Title I.  Funds from the Title-I program provide for additional staffing and assistance within the general education classroom.
